Educational qualification
- Basic B.Sc (Nursing) (Regular) degree from institutions recognized by Indian Nursing Council / Gujarat Nursing Council or General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from institutions recognized by Indian Nursing Council / Gujarat Nursing Council. Having in Diploma or
- Auxiliary Nurse and Midwife (ANM) and Female Health Worker (F.H.W) who have been performing duties in State Government or Panchayat Service for last 10 years on regular appointment and B.Sc as mentioned in the advertisement. (Nusing) or having educational qualification of GNM can also apply for this post and they will be eligible for relaxation in age limit as per extant rules of Govt. But in any case age should not exceed 45 years. “No Objection Certificate” of that office will have to be submitted.
- Permanent and periodically renewed registration of Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife with Gujarat Nursing Council is mandatory at the time of application. Registration number of Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or equivalent qualification must be indicated in the application form. Any other grounds will not be entertained.
- Should have adequate knowledge of both Gujarati / Hindi languages.
