RRC NWR Apprentice Recruitment 2026: The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), North Western Railway, Jaipur has released Notice No. 04/2026 (NWR/AA) for the engagement of Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the year 2026-27, with a total of 2,008 training slots across various Divisions/Units of North Western Railway. Candidates who have passed 10th with at least 50% marks and hold an NCVT/SCVT ITI certificate in the relevant trade can apply online at www.rrcjaipur.in from 07/10/2026 to 06/11/2026.
This is a centralized notification, but no centralized merit list will be formed. Candidates can choose only one Division/Unit, and the merit list is prepared Division/Unit-wise, trade-wise and community-wise.
Up to 10 additional years, to the extent of service rendered in Defence Forces plus 3 years (minimum 6 months continuous service required)
2. Educational Qualification
Passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 system) with minimum 50% aggregate marks (no rounding off) from a recognized Board.
Must possess a National Trade Certificate (ITI) in the notified trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.
Candidates must hold the required educational/technical qualification as on the date of submission of the application. Those awaiting final exam results need not apply.
RRC NWR Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
Merit List: Prepared on the basis of percentage of marks in Matriculation (10th) + ITI marks in the trade for which apprenticeship is to be done. The panel is based on the simple average of the two.
Matriculation Marks: Marks in all subjects are counted, not any single subject or group of subjects.
ITI Marks: Marks mentioned in the provisional/final certificate are counted.
Tie-breaking Rule: If marks are equal, the older candidate is preferred; if the date of birth is also the same, the candidate who passed Matriculation earlier is considered first.
Final Merit List: Prepared Division/Unit-wise, trade-wise and community-wise, equal to the number of slots.
Document Verification: Verification of original certificates in the opted Division/Unit.
Medical Examination: Medical certificate in the prescribed format (Annexure-IV) signed by a Government authorized Gazetted Doctor, not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon of a Central/State Hospital.
Fee is paid online through the payment gateway (Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking). Transaction charges, if any, are borne by the candidate.
RRC NWR Apprentice Training & Stipend Details
Training Period & Stipend: As per extant rules and directives issued by the Railway Board from time to time.
Hostel: No hostel accommodation is provided; selected candidates must arrange their own stay during training.
Contract of Apprenticeship: Selected candidates (or their guardian, if a minor) must enter into a Contract of Apprenticeship with the employer before training begins.
No Job Guarantee: Training in Railway does not give any right to absorption/employment in Railway after completion.

RRC NWR Apprentice Recruitment 2026: How to Apply, Step by Step
Open the online application link for Engagement of Apprentices under Apprentices Act 1961 over NWR (Notice No. 04/2026).
Register with your personal details. Keep your 12-digit Aadhaar number ready, and make sure your name, father’s name and date of birth match your Matriculation certificate exactly.
Enter an active mobile number and a valid e-mail ID, as all important messages will be sent by SMS/e-mail.
Choose only one Division/Unit and your ITI trade, then fill in your educational details.
Upload your colour photograph (3.5 cm x 3.5 cm, JPG/JPEG, 20-70 KB, taken within the last 3 months, without cap and sunglasses) and signature (3.5 cm x 2.5 cm, JPG/JPEG, 20-30 KB).
Pay the application fee online (if applicable) and complete the submission.
Note down your Registration Number and keep a printout of the application form and e-receipt for Document Verification.
Important Instructions
Do not submit more than one application. Multiple applications with different details will be summarily rejected.
No physical copy of the application needs to be sent to RRC.
Apply well before the last date to avoid website load or last-minute issues.
A helpline number will be available on the website from 07.10.2026, between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (except Sundays and holidays) until the last date.
Candidates must produce caste/NCL/EWS/disability/ex-servicemen certificates in the prescribed formats at the time of Document Verification to claim reservation.
