1. Residency Requirement

• The applicant must be a local resident of the revenue village/area where the specific Anganwadi center is located.
• A prescribed Local Residence Certificate, issued by the Mamlatdar through the Jan Seva Kendra, is mandatory.

2. Educational Qualification

• Anganwadi Worker: Minimum 12th Standard pass (candidates with higher qualifications may also apply).
• Anganwadi Helper: Minimum 10th Standard pass (candidates with higher qualifications may also apply).
• Merit lists are generated based on weightage assigned to academic qualification and percentage obtained.

3. Age Limit

• Fresh Applicants (Worker/Helper/Mini Worker): Minimum 18 years, Maximum 33 years, as on the last date of application.
• Existing Anganwadi Helpers applying for the Worker post (Priority Basis): Upper age limit extended up to 43 years as on the last date of application.
