GSSSB Municipal Sanitary Inspector Exam Pattern 2026 (ગૌણ સેવા સેનેટરી ઇન્સ્પેક્ટર પરીક્ષા પદ્ધતિ): The Gujarat Gaun Seva Pasandgi Mandal (GSSSB), Gandhinagar has published the updated exam pattern for Municipal Sanitary Inspector, Class-3 (Direct Recruitment) under Advt. No. 349/2025-26, for a total of 173 posts (Municipal Sanitary Inspector under the Commissioner, Municipality Administration, Gandhinagar and Sanitary Sub Inspector of Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation). The exam will be a single-stage MCQ competitive exam in CBRT/OMR mode, with one paper of two parts: Part-A (90 marks) and Part-B (120 marks), in 3 hours, with 1/4 negative marking. Answer Key and Question Cancellation Rules
After the exam, the Mandal will publish a Provisional Answer Key. The Final Answer Key will be published after considering objections/suggestions received from candidates.
If a question is cancelled in the Final Answer Key, the marks of the cancelled question are distributed pro-rata over the remaining questions.
A correct answer gets the pro-rata marks of that question, and for a wrong answer 1/4 of the pro-rata marks is deducted.
Update on Disability Certificate (Divyang Candidates)
In point 13(3) of the advertisement, an updated provision is added. As per the circular of the General Administration Department dated 29/02/2024 and the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, the Health and Family Welfare Department, Gujarat has fixed a new format of disability certificate by its circular dated 15/12/2025. A disability certificate obtained from the competent authority in this new format will be accepted.
