Educational Qualification
- Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised Technical Examination Board, University or institution, or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Government.
- A candidate holding a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is not eligible to apply.
- Basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.

GSSSB Work Assistant Exam Pattern 2026 and Selection Process
The exam is a single-stage, objective MCQ competitive exam in CBRT/OMR mode, with one paper of two parts. The paper level is equal to the educational qualification.
