Male and female Indian citizens can apply for Navik (GD). Navik (GD) needs Class 12 with Maths and Physics, Navik (DB) needs Class 10, Yantrik needs Class 10 plus a diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics, and Hygienist-I needs Matriculation or ITI. Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2026 – Gujarat (West Zone) Information
The West zone for Navik (GD) male candidates covers Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Goa, and Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu. Zone-wise vacancies are shown at the time of registration. If there is no vacancy reserved for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy)/EWS in a particular zone, such candidates may apply as unreserved, but then get no age concession, passing marks relaxation, fee exemption or travel fare reimbursement.

Physical Fitness Test (PFT): Male: 1.6 km run in 6 min 30 sec, 20 squats, 15 push-ups, 15 bent knee sit-ups. Female: 1.6 km run in 8 min, 15 squats, 10 push-ups, 10 bent knee sit-ups. All four tests are done continuously without a break.
Assessment and Adaptability Test: online/OMR based and qualifying; marks are used only to break a tie.
Document Verification and Recruitment Medical Examination.
Stage-III (at INS Chilka)
Aadhaar-based identity check, document verification and pre-enrolment medical examination for candidates shortlisted in merit. Final merit is based on Stage-I marks and qualification in Stage-II, and the tie is broken by older age and then Assessment Test marks.

Visit the SSC website ssc.gov.in, log in and follow the instructions for registration.
Select the Coast Guard CGEPT 01/2027 and 02/2027 recruitment.
Fill in the application form with correct details, and give the marks of all subjects as per your marksheet.
Upload the latest photograph, signature and documents. A live photo is captured during registration.
Choose your Stage-I exam city, pay the fee online and submit.
Important Instructions
Incorrect or incomplete filling of marks leads to cancellation of candidature.
Identity (live photo, biometric, signature, identification mark) is checked at every stage. Failure in any one check cancels the candidature.
Biometric of the left thumb is taken at Stage-I. Candidates with mehndi or wax on the thumb may not be allowed to appear.
Download the e-admit card for each stage and check your login and e-mail regularly.
Yantrik candidates without the original diploma must bring a provisional certificate signed by the college/university head at Stage-II.
