SSC CHSL Recruitment 2026 (SSC CHSL ભરતી 2026): The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has opened online applications for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) 10+2 Examination 2026 for about 2,536 posts of Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) and Data Entry Operator (DEO). Candidates who have passed 10+2 (DEO needs Science with Mathematics) and are aged 18 to 27 years as on 01/08/2026 can apply. The registration last date is 07 October 2026 (11:00 PM) and the fee payment last date is 08 October 2026, so apply at once at ssc.gov.in. The selection is through Tier-I, Tier-II and a Skill/Typing Test.

Tier-II (Descriptive)
A descriptive paper of 100 marks in pen-and-paper mode, 60 minutes (80 minutes for visually handicapped). Candidates write an essay, letter, application or précis in English or Hindi to test writing skills.
Tier-III (Skill Test / Typing Test)
Qualifying in nature. The final merit is decided on the total score in Tier-I and Tier-II.
