GPSC Recruitment 2026: The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has released a combined recruitment notification (Advertisement No. 42/2026-27 to 56/2026-27) inviting online applications for 26 vacancies across various Class-1 and Class-2 posts, including Marine Engineer, Port Officer, Pilot Officer, Naval Architect, Safety Officer, and more. Most posts are under the Divyang (Persons with Disabilities) Special Recruitment Drive. Eligible candidates can apply online at gpsc-ojas.gujarat.gov.in from 24/09/2026 (13:00 Hrs) to 08/10/2026 (23:59 Hrs).

Submit only one online application per advertisement, clearly noting the correct Advertisement Number and Post Name.
Fill in all details in the application form carefully, then verify them before final confirmation.
Upload your own photograph and signature only — if someone else’s photo/signature is found in the application or admit card, the candidate will not be allowed to sit for the exam.
The online application remains editable until the final closing date and time of the advertisement — use the “Edit” option in the “Online Application” menu if any correction is needed in the confirmed application.
After final submission, download and save a copy of the confirmed Application Form, and verify all details, photo, and signature in it.
If multiple applications are submitted for the same post, only the last confirmed application (with fee paid, for unreserved category) will be considered valid.
Keep all required certificates ready for submission at the time of the physical interview/document verification, and carry them without fail on that date.
GPSC Recruitment 2026 Important Documents & Certificates
Age Proof: Only SSC (Class 10) Certificate showing Date of Birth is valid; no other document will be accepted.
SEBC Candidates: Must submit Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (NCLC) strictly in Parishisht-Kh/Parishisht-4 (Gujarati) format.
EWS Candidates: Must submit the Income & Asset Certificate as per Gujarat Government Social Justice & Empowerment Department Resolution No. EWS/122019/45903/A dated 25/01/2019, in Annexure-KH (English) or Parishisht-G (Gujarati) format — only this format will be considered valid.
GPSC Recruitment 2026 Important Instructions
The Commission reserves the unrestricted right to change the number of vacancies in these advertisements based on department requisitions, and may also collect consent/consent deposit for the exam once decided.
Candidates should clearly read the Advertisement Number and Post Name before applying online for that specific post.
Age will be calculated as on the last date of online application submission.
Candidates are strongly advised not to wait until the last day (08/10/2026, 11:59 PM) to apply — verify all details carefully and submit the application well in advance to avoid last-minute website load issues.
Obtaining the Confirmation Number after submitting the online application within the stipulated time is mandatory; the candidate will be solely responsible for any lapse in this regard.
