Salary / Pay Scale
Selected candidates will receive a fixed remuneration during the initial period, followed by regular placement upon satisfactory completion.
- Fixed Remuneration: Rs. 26,000/- per month for the first 5 years. Upon successful completion of 5 years, candidates will be eligible for regular appointment in the 7th Pay Commission pay scale of Rs. 25,000/- to Rs. 81,100/- (Level-4).
Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification (As of 26/07/2026)
- Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class 12th) or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.
- Must possess a minimum one-year Sanitary Inspector’s Diploma Course from a recognized educational institution OR a minimum one-year Certificate of Health Sanitary Inspector from ITI or another recognized institute.
- Must possess basic knowledge of computer application and adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
2. Age Limit (As of 15/09/2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 33 Years
- Note: Upper age relaxations are applicable for reserved categories, women, and PwBD candidates as per government rules (maximum up to 45 years where applicable).
Exam Pattern & Syllabus
The selection process consists of a single-stage competitive examination using a Computer Based Response Test (CBRT) or OMR format, divided into Part-A and Part-B.
1. Examination Structure (Total Marks: 210, Duration: 3 Hours)
- Negative Marking: 1/4 (0.25) marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
- Qualifying Standards: Minimum qualifying standard is 40% for Part-A and 40% for Part-B independently.
